I'm tempted to buy this now

What about the aspect ratio?

The disc page says 1.85:1, but the original ratio (and the 2007 US BD) is 1.66:1

Um, it's been out for a while now.

Monei,
As for extras, the back cover lists the same commentary, BBC archival materials, etc. that were on the US blu-ray.

You also asked about imposed subtitles, but why would an English film's English release have imposed subs?

Anyone knows if the upcoming release by Spirit Entertainment will use the 4K restoration available in the US on the Criterion disc?

If nothing else, £6.99 is great for a new release.

I'd preordered some of the Spirit Entertainment releases. Both Wish You Were Here and The Madness Of King George were listed as Blu-ray, but Amazon cancelled my orders as they turned out to be DVD only

I do hope this is just to get the DVDs out to start the licence, and blu-rays will follow. A region B of Madness of King George would be most welcome, and it's always irritating when a label takes on a catalogue and then doesn't do blu-rays of some films.

I wonder how much of the Film Four archive they have access to.
