I love watching a head roll on the ground in slow motion. Which prevents me from doing anything about the other people shooting at me. VATS is dumb.

I just think one of two things should have happened. Either time should have stopped when shooting using VATS (not just when you're selecting a body part to fire at) or it should not have done that dynamic camera stuff. You could have still watched some dude fly apart in real time which would have allowed you to properly deal with other threats.

I agree but that's just one of the quirks of this silly game!

I LOVE VATS. Every game should have a VATS.

VATS is really video assisted thoracoscapy.

I had originally finished NV on PS3 playing NCR. I then played through Caesar's Legion on PC and then I only recently finished all the DLC on PC like a few weeks ago lol

I easily burnt another 300+ hours on NV.

I don't know if it is available for Mac.

But I do know there are drivers that allow you to use a PS3 controller on PC. You can also use an X360 controller on PC without doing anything special.

Yeah that part is dumb. I wish you could "abort" the slo-mo sequence with the controller or something.

The only thing I didn't like about VATS was that you would occasionally get stuck in a loop!

I loved FO3 because everything you did it was worth something (achievement/ trophy). NV I was doing it for the sake of doing it, and none of it was even remotely engaging as FO3.

I would disagree with that statement. Don't get me wrong, I liked FO3...alot and I played through FO3 before it even had trophy support but for me NV was something different & I connected with it more. And the DLC for both games are hands down some of the best IMO.

My feeling of NV was that it was too civilized as compared to FO3. The setting was also far more interesting.

I just think they tried too hard with all the different factions, the changes to the weapons sucked (those deathclaws were so powerful I didn't go anywhere near them). I also loved the setting/map.

It got you XP and that alone made most of it worth it.

It also got you rare loot in meany instances.

Plus NV had the best piece of Fallout DLC ever released Old World Blues.

Yuck... I actually thought OWB was a bit annoying. With FO DLC, I prefer when they go backward in time rather than more futuristic.

My favorite FO NV DLC was Honest Hearts by far although it crashed the most due to the world size.

My favorite FO3 DLC was Point Lookout. OMG that was epic. That also crashed a bunch outside due to world size.

I agree with you on Point Lookout & it is a tie for me between Old World Blues & Lonesome Road for NV.
