Shout/Scream is all about cult-love, and there's no cult-love like 80's cult-love from a "persecuted" 3DTV owner.
...And now Shout Factory-proper is doing their "foreign experimental" Blu 3D release with A Monster in Paris.

Although Shout probably got the 3-D mastering from the French distributor, at least they're pressing the Region A disks--
Could this be an idea for things to come, if Scream gets some of their cult titles into the mix? The first one is always hardest, you know...

I'd love to see some of those 3D flicks actually make it out to blu as well. I doubt it will happen but I'd love to see a jaws 3 pack or individual releases from scream. I can almost see the box art now...

I've stated this before but if Scream has on the Incredible Melting Man bluray the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode as an extra, this will definitely be one of the greatest special features ever on any movie period. I saw the film for the first time a few months ago and it's some B movie fun. Hopefully Scream puts on a couple more extras on the disc. LONG LIVE SCREAM FACTORY!

Bring on Parasite! I'm sure Demi Moore will be more than happy to record a commentary track...

Lionsgate owns this through their StudioCanal library.

Now, if you want a Charles Band movie in 3D, then Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn would be a good choice (if Universal renews their film sub-licensing deal with Shout!).

Universal also has/had "The Man Who Wasn't There", but....wow, even I'M admitting that one was awful. (Like, early-80's Cannonball Run II bad, and not even in the good way.)
As for Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone, there are rumors that Twilight Time had gotten one back-catalog experimental 3D title of their own away from Sony, but everyone just assumed it was The Mad Magician....Still, you never know.

But as long as it's MGM, give us Amityville 3D, and all is forgiven. I can already see the Scream cover with the cheesy-looking demon-thingy.
(We'll assume Universal is doing their own Jaws 3D next summer with the sequel set we were supposed to get last summer.)

I agree. And, with those black cases, it reminds me of when I would go to the mom and pop video stores as a kid and see all these terrifying covers for movies
