Why does it matter in the end, that he wasn't specific? Calm down, there's no reason to argue over something so petty.

Also, from Dictionary.com:

Quote:
Actor:
Noun
1) A person whose profession is acting on the stage, in movies, or on television.
2) A person who behaves in a way that is not genuine.
There's nothing gender specific about it. It just says a person. Not man or a woman, a person. So you can use the word to mean men and women, if you so choose, as the OP did.

Now now, being so called wrong can be damaging to the ego, but you'll be ok, you're stronger than that.
You've skipped the part where it states "actresses for female".

I don't refuse to watch anyone really if the time approaches, but I understand some of these.

Adam Sandler - I didn't like those 90s movies either and was forced to see them all at home by my mother's ex - I swear he liked to purposely bore me with things he knew I didn't like -- glad he's gone. I was bored though most of Saturday Night Live in the early 90s* (I did like certain skits like the Church Lady and It's Pat [don't shoot as I know people might at the 2nd choice]). Adam Sandler even sucked on The Cosby Show.

*I did like various skits from the 70s Saturday Night Live when I saw them as a small kid in the 90s but they are dated as hell now. Broken glass in a bag for Halloween sold by Dan Akroyd, for example. Coneheads... I used to own the Halloween and Christmas compilations.

Justin Long - I have only seen him really in Jeepers Creepers and Die Hard 4 but he ruins Die Hard 4 for me. I was hoping he would be executed after being captured but I guess that would end the plot.

Jim Carey - I loved Fire Marshal Bill as a small kid but hated when his movies started coming out. Why? Not sure what's going on in my head. Why could I like Fire Marshal Bill but not Ace V.? -- just don't.

Will Farrell - The comedies just aren't for me.

Family Guy and the movies like it - Ted!. (I know I love the idea of an out of control Snuggle Bear, but the outcome is just too stupid for words for me.) I know this will get me blown away with a Molotov cocktail. So, the actor there who did both. *Seth MacFarlene went on an episode of ABC's Shark Tank and was really just irritating and the panel just didn't buy it. He kept trying to tell jokes to pitch a really bad idea for a backer and just irritated for 15 minutes. He lost the purpose of his proposel and why he was there too. It was a device to catch flies with dog shite. The idea was actually much better than Seth's jokes that night.

I don't think there are any. Although there are plenty I do not care for.

One of the ones off the top of my head would be Katherine Heigl. I really can't stand her.

As for Hathaway, I do indeed hate her. I find her one of the least charismatic and skillful actresses I can think of, and her overall presense just makes me angry.
[Show spoiler]I was in fact quite relieved when I was watching Les Miserables that her character died early. I have never read the book, so when I saw the trailers for the film I was worried she would have a prominent role.

Anyways, since when is disliking Anne Hathaway cause for assumption of trolling? I didn't realize that she was well-liked in the first place.
Seriously, Anne Hathaway make you angry? Come on dude. That's taking it a little too far.

There are some actors I dislike but the only one whose movies I refuse to watch anymore (except maybe Collateral) is Tom Cruise.

I'm not sure I'd say I like her but credit where credit is due: Julie Newmar might be my second favorite Catwoman now.

And you skipped the 'sometimes' immediately in front of 'actress for female'.

That's some pretty selective editing, no?

He really said that? What a jerk. It's a good thing I never liked his acting nor his movies so he didn't ruined any movies for me. Actually I did enjoyed Gangster Squad, but he's the bad guy so I don't care. I wonder if he thinks Gangster Squad is high art?

All of the action heroes. I mean most were decent with their original films, but then it just got boring and repetitive fast.

Does there really need to be like 90 Seagal films out?

While it's not at the level of refusing to watch him, I have no idea how Hollywood chose Jeremy Renner to become a headlining action star. He's not a great actor and he has virtually no physical presence. You could walk into practically any bar and find a dozen guys with his look.

Same here.

On another note, Kristen Stewart. You can put those cheap googly eyes from a hobby shop on a 2x4 and it would have a larger range of emotion than her.

I won't argue with anyone's opinion, but I'm just going to stick up for Will Ferrell since he seems to be getting alot of hate here. IMO he is the funniest living actor (only one who comes close is Eddie Murphy in his prime). I feel so strongly about him that I actually would question a friendship with somebody if they didn't like him.

Ironic that you own films with some of these people in them, don't you think? I mean, if you "refuse" to watch them"...
