"Digital Copy" What is it??

I know i will be buying Hitman on Blu-ray tomorrow, and it comes with a digital copy, im not sure what that is or what it can do, can someone explain the use of a digital copy? thanks

Its a Digital Download, where you can transfer DVD Disc to your PC, iPod, PSP, and Zune.

Thanks, cause i was just wondering if this would work to where i could send it to my computer, cause i like to make music video's and trailer's to movie's by burning the dvd on my computer, and since im buying Blu-ray , i wouldnt have the dvd. thanks again

It's probably going to have some DRM enabled that would prohibit this.
I could be wrong though.

I'm not sure if Tune Bite is legal to remove DRM? Can anyone confirm that?

i assume that it will have the standard itunes DRM...and i thought that the disc itself did not contain a digital copy but more of a checkout code to use on itunes...am i wrong?

You are correct. Checkout code only use once. I'm not sure what video format does iTunes uses? .mov, mp4 or m4p. hmm...

on highdef digest they say its a seperate dvd you pop in the drive and copy it to your media device

Digital Copy - Given the rather formulaic extra package, the real news here is that 'Hitman' is the first Blu-ray title to include a Digital Copy of the film. Contained on a second, standard DVD included in the set, the download is easy. Just pop the disc in your PC or Mac, and follow the instructions. Although the copy is only standard-def, it worked great, and I was able to download it to my iPhone in just a couple of minutes. Being a man on the go, I welcome Fox's support of digital copies (it certainly is easier than ripping a standard encrypted DVD), so I hope the studio keeps 'em coming.

If you ask Tune Bite, they'll tell you it's legal for obvious reasons: they want to sell you a product to do it. With current laws, it's likely illegal no matter how you spin it.
