"While this new version of 'Alien vs. Predator' marks the first confirmed BD-Live title from Fox, it's not likely to be the last, with the studio also telling Gizmodo that they are currently looking at three other major (but as-yet-unamed) franchises to receive a similar interactive-heavy treatment."
Can we speculate what these 3 franchise movies are from Fox? Can't be StarWars right since thats all Lucas. |

The Alien and Predator franchises seem likely. Maybe X-Men as the third?
Wolverine does open next year. So it would be logical to get the 3 X-Men films out on Blu. Yes, I know 'Last Stand' is already out there. But every other region got a fully loaded SE on DVD. |

If they consider a movie with one sequel a Major franchise then I guess Transporter and Fantastic Four could be the other ones.

Where as it sounds likely they're just re-packaging the current release with AVP:R. |

Just because it's only two movies doesn't make it any less a franchise. And Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: RotSS probably would be also. Given they're doing a Silver Surfer movie as well as FF3. |

This seems silly. They're re-leasing a 2-pack that is a re-issue of their now (admittedly) gimped copy of AVP? Why bother? Do the expect the box set to be a big seller? Why not just release AVPR with the goodies NOW, and then hold off on releasing any more copies of AVP until the re-issue? Now they're gonna have 3 different Blu versions of AVP floating around out there. Senseless.
