Hi,
I just hooked up my PS3 yesterday. I got a question about the video and audio setup. PS3 automatically detect the optimal video setting and determines that 1080p would be the best resolution for my TV. Now I know that my Panasonic Plasma only goes up to 10801. Why does PS3 think that my TV can do 1080p? Should I manually adjust it so PS3 output would be 1080i instead of 1080p? Second question. My PS3 also automatically detect the optimal audio setting. It came back with Linear PCM 2.0 options all checked and 5.1 options checked up to 96khz setting . None of the 7.1 options selected. I have Denon AVR-3806 with 6.1 speakers. Should I select the 7.1 options? Should I also select any of the option for above 96khz setting? Thanks in advance. |
