That's why it's tamer, Steve - the Mods here are "on the case"! [Hullo, Brent! Damn, it's dinnertime here in Texas so I hope yours is okay. ]Believe me, without supervision, we'd probably be rutting around in the mud like last time.

Some people are saying that it's okay to feel that way, while others are saying that it's not okay to feel that way. And as a result, everyone is annoyed with everyone else.

My last two sentences can also essentially be used to describe every message board ever, FYI.

I never knew Woody Allen was an Avengers fanboy.

It is a joke. Go watch some episodes of Buffy or Angel and come back when you aren't drooling over Whedon. All the clowns whining about plot holes in this movie gobbled up Avengers like it was some gospel of the divine. You don't see them picking apart that turkey? You know why? Because plot holes only matter when you don't like the movie. Saint Whedon wrote it so it must be perfection.

Why don't you grow up. We've already been warned. When you speak in absolutes and try to paint everyone with one brush you only reveal yourself to be a fool. I've never even seen Avengers, but I probably will; and I'm not a Whedon fan, but I still saw problems in TDKR. That alone blows a big "plot hole" in your overly simplistic scenario.

Let the 7 billion people on the planet be individuals, which they are. I'm sorry if that scares you or the others that love to hide behind sweeping condemnations. The world just isn't that simple. Try expressing yourself and your ideas - and holding off on the big know-it-all-critic fix. You just may find, as you mature, that respect given is respect earned - and you might come to like it more than mindless blather. Just a thought, bro.

You do realize that all movies have plot holes, don't you? Cinema is not about having everything perfectly explained to you. You can pick apart any film if you try hard enough. Have you seen Skyfall? Great Bond film but the entire opening is a giant plot hole. Doesn't make the movie any less wonderful. I don't understand this online obsession with tearing movies to shreds. It is dumb, childish, and makes the Internet look ridiculous.

Next thing I know you'll be asking why Nolan didnt show all those policemen using the restroom when they were down there for months in the sewers...as if we need to see that!

The pseudo-intellectual nonsense needs to stop.

Some things in movies should be implied, especially whens its the third film of a trilogy. I.E., when Bruce escaped the pit and made his way back Gotham. Before the escape, Fox tells the seal team that the bomb will explode in 23 days, next scene Bruce escapes the pit, next scene the exile ny ice and Gordon tells his men that the bomb goes off tomorrow, or 24 hours. We already know that Bruce ran with criminals and thugs for 7 yrs in the first movie and then his time as batman with money in the previous two films. Seeing how Bruce made it back is unneccesary.

Also, Christopher Nolan has said in an interview that Bruce's lives at the end.

I have a dilemma! I was recently The Dark Knight Trilogy box set but I already own the steelbooks for each movie. I'm not sure which versions I should keep!

As always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They should have the same content, unless one of the TDKR's is from Best Buy - in which case it'll have the Reborn doc (which has little or nothing new). So, I guess it comes down to which set you can sell for the most or which one you think looks best in your collection.

Got a notification this morning that the price dropped to $17.96 (from $24) and the price tracker reflects that in that the priced dropped $6.99 six hours ago.. But when I go to Amazon, it says it's $24. Anyone else see this?

It's $24.96, not $24, and that's what BRDC and Amazo show now. Sometimes Amazo has quick little deals for one reason or another (fulfillment, etc) and the price shoots back up. The computers are usually right but they aren't instantaneous, all you can do is check (and never count on Best Buy pricing - BRDC lists OOD prices and some things BB doesn't even have, like Rio Bravo for $17.99 when BB hasn't had the Blu-ray for ages).

Really love the film. I guess people didn't understand it the way the lucky others did.

Plus how many times in the trilogy does Batman disappear and reappear out of nowhere? It's an inherent point of the character. How did Batman find Harvey Dent when he was torturing one of the Jokers men in the second movie? It's simply what Batman does. As I said, plot holes only matter to those who hate this film and have other agendas.

The Internets need to get over themselves.

Less times, if it's becoming a tired trope.
