Comicon SUCKER PUNCH was original sold in the US.

Then it was widely sold in the US.

But it's G1, so it doesn't count.

THE HURT LOCKER was once rare, but now it is the worst-looking copy of that SteelBook you can buy.

It was also G1, so it doesn't count either.

I've been searching everywhere, including this forum, but I can't find out whether the upcoming Skyfall Steelbook UK will be region free. I know that Amazon has it listed as Region B locked, but MGM releases aren't always locked. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'm sorry if this information has already been posted previously; I'm new and I wan't able to locate it.

Also, are there other English language alternatives? I saw an Australian version but it says Region B locked as well. I was just hoping someone might have some information before the actual release when prices skyrocket!

You should get a region free player these are very cheap now. I think I paid $139 for mine.

Underworld: Awakening (3D, I assume you mean) is available at dvd.jsdvd.com, dvd.bestshop.com/tw and most importantly, YesAsia (there's a text box in the database for YesAsia product IDs), so I added it into the database.

Amazing Spider-Man, though, is only at k2dvd.com. YesAsia has a Hong Kong and Taiwan version; I just want to make sure that your suggestion is unique to South Korea (specific EAN/UPC/"bar code"). Any other Korean sites that sell it?

It was pretty limited...I believe this sold out within a few minutes once it came live.

Yeah, I understand Korea sometimes only has a few hundred copies of SteelBooks.

Do you still have the cardboard J-card with Korean info on it? Can you tell me the EAN (bar code number) on it and the Steel itself, if it's different?

Beauty and the Beast is an ironpack, you wont find a Hyundai at a Ferrari dealer. This is a Steelbook Trade Mark list, only Scanavo products here. There's an other subforum for other collectible metal packaging.

(Sorry I haven't responded in so long.)

Well, missing from where?

Search Blu-ray.com database on "James Bond steel" (US) brings them up, and they are still at Amazon.com, so I assume you mean Canada.

In the Blu-ray.com database, there are no results for "James Bond steel" under Canada, were there once separate Canadian pages? Or did Future Shop just sell the US versions because of their connection to Best Buy?

Your link goes to the Taiwan page, which I just added; did you mean there is also a Hong Kong version?

While we're at it, can anyone clarify the China / Hong Kong / Taiwan release system for me? Are they always three separate entities? Do they ever release the same version with a "J-card" slip over the back with a different EAN ("bar code"/ part number) for a different country?

Sorry for the late response but I do have the ASM Korean version if you still need a photo but I see you already added it to the system. Other notable releases are Skyfall and Dark Knight Rises...both Korean versions.

k2dvd.com says DKR has "no paper slip" (J-card), so that may be an import. kimchidvd.com does not have it. Both have Skyfall, but again, I'd like to have some proof that they are Korean-specific before I add them to the database.

I did add both titles to this list for now. Thanks!
