I really wish BFI would stop printing "Dual Format Edition" on the covers, they have the sticker clearly stating it's "Dual Format" no need to print it on the aswell.


On another note, BFI have announced their replacement program for "Battleship Potemkin".

After the release of our Dual Format Edition of Battleship Potemkin/Drifters it became apparent that there was a technical fault with the presentation of Potemkin on the Blu-ray Disc. We have therefore re-authored and re-pressed the project, and replacement Blu-ray Discs are now available. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the original Blu-ray Disc and would like a replacement, please contact Ben.Stoddart@bfi.org.uk giving details of your name and address and, if possible, proof of purchase and a new disc will be sent to you as soon as possible. We are extremely grateful to you for your patience and understanding during the period it has taken to resolve this matter.

Also, I presume its too early to work out how to know whether you have the corrected disc?

Potemkin somehow was effectively 1440x540 resolution stretched to 1080. No one has the corrected disc (yet) as they've just been manufactured.

thanks, it was tempting to order from Amazon at 9 pounds, but might wait for the corrected discs to be out.

I have the Kino version to tide me over till then, still havent watched it yet anyway.

I guess the BFI ones will be going the same way soon.

Hulu is only available in the US though.
