How the PS3 is really doing! - Blu-ray Forum

I really don't understand this console wars; it's not like Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD. There’s room for more than one console. I don’t see Wii, Xbox 360, or PS3 going anywhere. There’re all making money. Sure some will be more successful then others, but that doesn’t mean they just disappear. Nintendo has been around forever and they’re still here. I don’t see Xbox going anywhere, I can see them releasing an Xbox 3 in a few years. Which I’m sure will be better than PS3, and then Sony will release PS4 which will be better than Xbox 3, and so and so.
I kept hearing the Xbox 360 is holding back third party from making games that could show off the power of the PS3. While this is true to a degree, I think we are forgetting some of these, third party, are making the same game for the Wii. Which we all know is nowhere near as good a Xbox 360 or PS3. Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, Call of Duty 3, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance are a few games that I know of.

Non of the systems are going anywhere, as long as there games coming out that people want to buy.
