Anyone ever try Lasik? I tire of taking my contacts in and out everytime I go to sleep, and mixing them up since my eyes are two different prescriptions.

But I was forced to switch to contacts after I lost my only pair of glasses in the ocean. Haven't looked back since then

If I could afford it, I'd get LASIK in a heartbeat.

Dont you need to be a certain age to get lasik? That way your vision wont worsen as you age with your lasik or you'd end up having to wear glasses again to offset the difference?

[Show spoiler]But I was forced to switch to contacts after I lost my only pair of glasses in the ocean. Haven't looked back since then
I've thought about it. Nearly said 'yes' a few times now but it's still a little frightening to me for a surgery of convenience-only when it's my eyes at stake. I think I'll just stick to contacts and eyeglasses.

A friend of mine had it a few years ago, he still says it's the best investment he's made. I'm still hesitant though. You only get one set of eyes.
