Very much yes to Dog Day Afternoon! And yes to Goodfellas - I don't think it being out elsewhere should matter to WB UK. (Heat was part of the last wave anyhow).

Am intrigued as to whether or not The Departed would be one as it's an old EiV title that Warners picked up through their purchase of New Line and, so far, EiV still seem to have some control on those titles (e.g. LOTR, Blade) and they do not do steelbooks. But if Warners do include some New Line titles in this then, please - Lord of the Rings individual steebooks.

Oh hell yes! Would love this.

I'd also double-dip on both Gremlins films if they got steels (and not that horrible double-pack from France(?)). Heck, it's completely unlikely, but I would love this on a steelbook:

[Show spoiler]

In a more likely request I take it Wizard of Oz will be included, being as its 3D re-release is one of the crown jewels of Warner's 90th anniversary celebrations? Would also love to see White Heat get a steelbook release.

Why does everyone keep on wishing for re-releases ?? Aren't you tired of double dipping??? Or triple dipping if you them on DVD.

I've got Goodfellas Best Buy SB, more than happy with the PQ/AQ, Batman films don't need to double dip you can buy the boxt set for £10 why pay £10+ each ?

Does anyone need to upgrade the Departed from amaray to SB ? It'll be the same transfer

There is a massive WB catalogue yet to be released in HD.

I'd like to finally be able to buy Pacific Heights and Young Guns 2, for a start.

Most of the WB Blu 'earlies' were released on HD DVD concurrently and I tended to buy those as they were on sale more. Haven't replaced most with Blu, so I'm okay with it.

You would. I wouldnt. Im much more interested in a Goodfellas release which does justice to the film.

What's wrong with the Canadian version? I agree with the other poster's disdain at people asking for titles already available on Steelbook. It's especially annoying if the titles are still widely available. Stop being lazy and import the damn thing if you like it so much. If you only buy from your country of origin, then you're limiting yourself massive and quite honestly it's stupid if you are a Steelbook collector.

As for the titles in this wave, I guess it will include Kelly's Heroes, Rebel Without a Cause and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? since they already have listings on Amazon. I would like to see some modern films to compliment those such as Blood Diamond, Falling Down, The Prestige etc.

Heck, I'd be happy with all the Premium Collection Digibooks being released in the US and/or UK!

On that note, continue the Premium Collection Steelbooks!!! I've got them all and would love to add to my collection.

What makes you think I dont import? Goodfellas needs a new remaster and a lossless soundtrack. Id also like to see The Prestige...hopefully the superior US transfer.

If it's anything like Casablanca, then we'd get the same transfer that's available now

A SteelBook hasn't been mentioned for Oz, which is a shame. Hopefully The Great and the Powerful will get one, but that's just my own personal hope, not a fact!
