Ya... well... welcome to the market that is Canada pricing!

It seriously annoys me to no end that at any given time prices for the exact same product on Amazon.com is an average of $5 cheaper than is available anywhere in Canada. In the case of these FutureShop exclusive steelbooks, it's even worse since there is no option to buy from Amazon.com! If we want the steelbook, we have to pay the Canadian premium.

Silly question

How do I go about purchasing this living in the UK?

Can someone explain the procedure as I can't buy direct from the retailer.

You need to either join in the group buy(s) that happen on this and other sites, or have a friend in Canada that is willing to pick it up and ship it to you.

I'll wait and see if there is a UK Steelbook release.

That's actually a responsible price

Fair enough

The film is a must have for me but the Steelbook is just a desirable addition.

If I can pick it up around £15 then that will be fine.

I see you have a considerable catalogue of SB's. in your experience do they tend to offer these after the initial bog standard release?

I would've thought there would be a significant demand for SB's in all regions

It's very strange that only futureshop have this up available in a steelbook and no one else has. The last time I saw this was for hunger games district 12 which still has never lower in price.

I believe this will only be the only steelbook for this film so its whether to take the plunge or not.

I decided to as its for films like this I wanted to get into steelbooks in the first place- 5 stars & you can watch over & over again.

Well I just found out not too long ago that in the states, a new blu is only $19.99! That is so cheap compared to Canada. And, the price for the steelbook is the same as the regualr one. So, of course if you're at the store get the steel... before others steal them all.

If I had the same SB collection as yourself then it is a no brainer & you've got to get it.

I'll bide my time on this and will wait for a euro SB or a £10'ish bogger.

Thanks M.

My collection has only got decent over the last couple of weeks when I changed my mindset lol and this steel was what actually changed my mind lol

I decided what's the point paying £10-15 for a steel that once opened & watched, will just sit on my shelf until I decided to get rid of it & struggle or paying slightly more (£20-25) & get a steel which looks great for a film ill watch loads.

Now I've got to try and thin out my collection lol that's the hardest decision to make lol

Am I alone not liking this steelbook?
I will get it because I'm a completist but this steel is far from nice.

£32 is the best price you'll get. Even if you join a group buy it'll cost around that much with shipping. The only way you can get it for £15 is if they release a steel in the UK.
