I didn't scan anything- that is a link from a news article. I saw that on teevee while I was surfing. Can't you just let it be

I like it. Our money is ugly and boring, and they are now trying to spice it up some.

Spicing it up is one thing; making it actually worth something, well, that's something else...

Thats it they are trying to make it so it is not so easy to duplicate and they are going to be changing the bills every couple of years now.

They really need to make our bills different sizes and use other features so blind people can identify them by touch

I've heard this argument before, that money discriminates against the blind. But in today's world, use a debit / credit card, so every purchase is documented and fraud is investigated. Otherwise there are too many things already built that depend on money being a specific size. They'll never go through the expense of changing money as long as there's already a better alternative for blind people to use.

They have to change the money readers to recognize the new bills anyway. You keep the $1 the same size, since 90% of the automated machines are designed to take those anyway

That's just updating software, not engineering and replacing hardware.

In no way should our money be altered for the blind. Put some braille in the corners maybe.

As far as the new 5... guess it matches the rest. I miss the good ol days of the plain "green back."
