Why? I don't have the boxset and I don't care about the extra discs - I'll never get around to watching them. But I do like the steelbook designs and, as the boxset is around £60 everywhere now and the individual ones are still over the £30 mark, I'd happily pay £30 for each one should anywhere have them at that price.

Same here mate. Don't have SW on blu yet, I never watch extras, I love the design and I'm a Steelbook collector, this is a must for me

You criticize them for bleeding money for the same product, yet you'd buy it if the cover art was different.

Makes sense

Amazon Star Wars Steelbook! Original Trilogy & Prequel Trilogy!

It appears that Amazon UK is going to be releasing steelbooks for the original trilogy & the prequel trilogy later this year. There isn't a release date or price as of this posting but the artwork on the cases is quite nice looking.

Original Trilogy:

Prequel Trilogy:

Just like anyone can chuckle at anyone's choice of blu-rays in their collection! Glad we all think differently!

Bit too expensive. Shame because the designs are quite nice.

I'd buy them if I didn't already have the boxset.

Small premium for the steels is ok, Star Wars tends to hold it's value well.

But as much as I want to, I can't justify a double-dip. The collector in me is twitching away like mad but I've already told it no...

I have the exact opposite problem. I do not own any of the Star Wars movies on blu yet so I am interested in these. Hopefully Amazon will have them for a little less though.

I am new to this so I am not sure. Seems like a lot of the folks on here think so.
