For those interested, that film "3:15" I mentioned the other day is currently available through Netflix streaming until March 1st. Such a fun, gang/bully film from 1986 with Adam Baldwin ("My Bodyguard") and Deborah Foreman ("April Fool's Day", "Valley Girl"). I can totally see this being an ideal candidate for Shout's multi-film packs especially if they follow up their upcoming Action Collection this March with another one, "3:15" would be perfect since its never seen a DVD release before.

I would ship that right back to them. You can print out a free shipping label if you say it is damaged and they will ship you another right away.

No. Only their Collector's Editions will have slipcovers. Island and Death Valley also do not have slips, as well as the upcoming Vampire Lovers and Town That Dreaded Sundown.

The Burning is there, but with the we will inform you when available message. Just put it in my wishlist with Captain America and The Town That Dreaded Sundown.

We will probably get a date at the end of the week, so I'll be able to pre-order all three.

I must say, I'm surprised that TerrorVision/The Video Dead isn't a double featured collector's edition, considering all the special features that are on it between the two films.

Yup, even their non-CEs are still SEs, except The Island, which is bare-bones. The only differences seem to be that CE releases have commissioned art and accompanying posters.

I have had a similar experience to RebelPhoenix. The slips on most of my Scream titles have had at least a little damage from Amazon. It's happened enough that I'm thinking of finding another company to buy their future titles from.

Not all the time. Sometimes they go back up to $29.99 and that doesn't even count the shipping.

A much more recent Universal title, but one they don't seem in any rush to release on Blu (and I even saw packed in a "6 movies for $5" set not long ago), what about Slither? It is from 2006 but it had the spirit of a 70s/80s horror movie with comic overtones. Any plans on acquiring that one as Universal dumping it into the multi-title cheapie bins shows that isn't one they have any rush to get out.

They are now available at Amazon Canada and my pre-order is done. No awesome price this time since they took too long to appear, but Captain America is only 10.49$.

I just came across an advertisement in an old DVD case I had that mentioned several Universal horror titles that I hadn't thought of in a while. Looked and they weren't on the "no" list, so I thought I'd bring them, up.

Sssssss (1973)
The Sentinel (1977)
The Legacy (1979)

Don't know if those are too old for consideration, but I've seen Sentinel and Legacy, and at least with The Legacy it could be marketed as from the director of Return of The Jedi.

yeah, just preordered the burning and beetlejuice, price was a little steep so i held off on TTDS, maybe we'll get lucky and amazon will do one of their random price drops, either way i've got two montgs to save up the funds.
