several of my local BB have dozens of Rises on the shelf. I could go buy at least 50 in hand today if I wanted to.

Rise is not really limited to be honest..... it is avaliable in about 3 to 4 other countries and maybe even more. But it is a great steelbook. if you can find one for about 30 to 40 bucks then grab a copy.

Honestly it will not be available in 2 years at a local best buy... you might as well get it now since it is at the store and at a low cost... The cost will only go up as time gos on and it becomes oop

I have the first 2 in Steel so I want the last one that way too. I only paid $4.99/each for them. I'm hoping that one day I will be able to get one cheap ($5-$15). I'm holding off buying this movie until then. It may take more than a year, but as long as they keep making them like they did for the first two, I can wait. They are the only steels I have and it would look stupid if I completed the trilogy with a regular blue case. Just saying.

Best Buy doesn't like to lower prices on their exclusives from my experience. They still have the Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows 'exclusive' steelbooks at full price ($35?), all while having a budget steelbook for the same exact title at $10 at the same time.

I got into my local BB when they were running a special on all of their steelbooks for $9.99, and then I utilized the trade up program and traded in some DVD's for a $5 coupon so I got all of their steels for $4.99 a piece...except for a few like TDKR and Gran Torino.

I predict $19.99 soon, but I think that might be the lowest they go with it. |

To be honest, it was my least favorite of the trilogy. Especially after reading #5 in this Cracked article: http://www.cracked.com/article_20298...lot-holes.html |

how did catwoman get in the safe? how did bruce get back to the city so quickly from the dungeon why was he so careless to entrust his company to Miranda without doing a background check, and no, sleeping with her is not a background check. how does bruce still "be batman" even though his physical shows that he is falling apart. (and that was even before Bane tore him up) how did bane know where to post up underground right under batman's setup how could he have possibly survived the blast. he didn't have enough time to get far enough away from it. but you know what... while we are all asking these questions to make sense of the movie, we forget that... batman isn't real... and the whole set is gloriously far fetched anyhow. We will all go see Man of Steel too. And we all loved Avengers, even though the Iron Man suit is completely impossible, and Hulk isn't real. And Thor.. that guy is completely indestructable and can fly at will. He is like Hulk + Iron Man + Captain America combined. It's all part of the allure. TDKR is still an awesome movie to cap out the trilogy. |
