If you're a fan of 80's Slasher's and Wes Craven then I highly recommend Deadly Blessing, its great. I havn't seen the other's, so can't comment on those.

I too am very keen to see the artwork for The Fog and The Howling, so hopefully they show it soon. I'm needing some new announcements.

But they still do have titles to announce nevertheless as they did comment on an inquiry just a few hours ago

Also, we still don't know whether Horror Show, Vagrant, Godsend or Schizoid will be BD or not.

Just watched The Nest last night. Definitely an 80s b-horror flick, but it was enjoyable. I have a really bad phobia of bugs, so I was uncomfortable during a lot of the close-ups, but I recommend it.

I just hope SOMEBODY has it, and is prepping it for a release at some point this year...

Just pre-ordered every Collector's Edition from Shout's site. I'll have to post some pics of the posters all nicely lined up on my wall when they come in

...other than They Live and Halloween III because I don't have those

I love the Blind Dead series and hope they get a Bluray release soon. Although I'm a little worried as I thought I read they didn't sell that well on DVD.

If I had to list his best five films (IMO of course), none from his gore period in the '80s would make it, though I really do like New York Ripper (a sleazy giallo) and that one I might like enough to call it one of my faves. It was the first giallo of his that I saw. It has a reputation for being very trashy and gory but for whatever reason I thought the story was interesting and the quacking duck voice didn't bother me in the slightest (the guy's crazy, after all). Fulci's best work was his gialli like 'Lizard in a Woman's Skin', 'Don't Torture a Duckling', and 'Seven Notes in Black / The Psychic'. Other ones I like are 'Four of the Apocalypse' (a western) and a period drama of sorts called 'Beatrice Cenci'. 'Beatrice Cenci' might actually be his best film. 1980s Fulci is more about atmosphere and gore effects, I think Fulci even mentioned at some point that he went that route because that's what people wanted from him. They were less personal works for him, and I got the impression that he was disappointed that his earlier work wasn't as appreciated.
I like New York Ripper but it's not a favourite, nether is Don't Torture a Duckling. I need to revisit that film though as I remember being disappointed that it was nothing like his later gore soaked work. I am a huge fan of Lizard in a Woman's Skin though!

It was announced as an Amazon exclusive, glad to see that includes .ca, as sometime we get left out of these exclusives.

The Sentinel (1977)
The Legacy (1979)

Don't know if those are too old for consideration, but I've seen Sentinel and Legacy, and at least with The Legacy it could be marketed as from the director of Return of The Jedi.
I would take all of those, especially The Sentinel. An extremely creepy and trippy flick!

Although I think we're not gonna hear about too many new titles until most of what's already been announced has been released.
Yeah I commented on this earlier. It's great to know about all of their upcoming titles, but at the same time a little disappointing, as all the other companies have been announcing newly obtained titles and Scream really just has covers and extras to show us. One of those damn if you, damned if you don't scenarios I guess. Ah well, they have the best upcoming line up for any company,by far! Hopefully they have a few surprises up their sleeves in the upcoming months. Prince of Darkness would be a great announcement!

I can proudly and awesomely say that I own The Vidoe Dead on Blu-ray, something I honestly never thought was going to happen.

Thank you SF, this is awesome.

I hadn't heard of TerrorVision before SF, but I'll gladly check it out.

The one teeny tiny gripe I could have with the release of TVD/TV is that it would've been awesome of the reversible cover had a spine so that the covers could be displayed. Don't get me wrong, the posters they used for the cover are great, but I love the posters for TVD on the inside even more.

Either way, AWESOME release.

Oh bugger, I love the reversible cover's myself and wanted to display it that way. Oh well, I'll probably still do that, but as you said, the title on the spine would of been better.

I noticed that on the "Night of the Demons 2" blu-ray, there is a Paramount logo. Being that it was a republic film, I though Sony would have the rights -not paramount. Same with Witchboard 2 and The Monster Squad. But they're Paramount titles...

We need new announcements to give us something fresh to talk about. Even if it was ONE announcements that could keep us going for a week or two. Jeez Cliff. We miss them...

I would love to see a double feature blu-ray of the 2 Munsters movies.
"Munster, Go Home!" And "Here Come the Munsters!". Both are with Universal/Fox, so its wouldn't be impossible.

And I agree. We need some type of announcement to hold us over for a while.

When the Friday Announcements do return, if they do at all, maybe try sticking to 1 announcement per week, instead of upwards of 3.

I'll love whatever you put out but please give us a glimpse at your 2nd wave.
