I am not sure about passing POTC3 or 300, but it will be well over 100k, or even 150k for first week...

It was more than that because WB cited numbers of 250 k total on HD and BD did about twice as much as dud.

It did roughly 162,500 in its first week according to Warner.

By Aug 14th it was 190,000 Blu-ray units of the film, versus 97,000 HD DVD.

Yeah it depends on which numbers you go by but you're right that Warner said 250k and nearly 2:1 Blu-ray so that puts it in the 160k area for Blu-ray in week one.

Just because a movie makes a lot of money doesnt mean its a greta movie. 10,00BC made a ton of money and got a horrible rating. Theres many movie out there that get a lot of hype and a lot of people go see and yea you see the gross money of the film go up but does that necessarily mean its a great movie. I myself thought I am legend could have been filmed with more action. Half the movie was just him going crazy in his head and looking for food. I myself think when Transformers rolls over (when they do cause paramount is slow) will be a high seller without a doubt along with batman begins.

Simple fact is the movie will sell because people will pay to see Will Smith. He's one of Hollywood's elite right now. Put in an actor that's half as popular in that role and people would then start to realize how weak and rushed the storyline was. It's quite a shame since Omega Man was brilliant.

ppl havent seen dark knight yet but i think i speak for a lot of ppl when i say we would buy that right now even before goin to theatres to watch it and thats why it will be the best selling blu when it is released

I AM Legend looks far better then other Blu-ray movies I own such as: The Departed and No Country for Old Men. Those two films are grainy as **** at times. I AM Legend does not suffer from these issues. If I have to pay $30 bucks for a movie I except it to have actual HD video quality!! Has anyone else noticed this shit???
