I'd also consider the BenQ w1070, which is a very bright 1080p 3D DLP projector at the $1000, and should produce better 3D than the Epson 3010 series. While a Panasonic 7000u will produce a better picture, the BenQ w1070 will do a better job driving that large of a screen because it is a brighter projector. I wouldn't recommend it if you are going with a 2.35:1 or 4:3 screen because of the limited zoom lens, but is a terrific value for a 3D 1080p projector.
