the shared save file feature for monster hunter is a feature Nintendo should use with animal crossing as well. it would as be nice if you bought one version you could download the other version free/cheaper.

Has Animal Crosding for Wii U been announced or is it just speculation at this point?

Watch Dogs Wii U Listed by Multiple Retailers

We’ve reached out to Ubisoft about a potential Wii U version of Watch Dogs and will update this story with any comment we receive.

And Animal Crossing: City Folk sold fairly well on the wii in North America, with around a half million copies sold. I don't see why they wouldn't port future games to NA.

Ubisofts latest attempt to make amends for the Rayman Legends delay may get the fans back on side. For the company will be distributing the full online challenge mode in early April on the Wii U eShop. What's more, it will be free!

The online challenge mode features five different levels, each with different styles while new challenges will be added daily or weekly, each of which will have its own leaderboard.

Ubisoft showed off all five of the challenges ina video on the Rayman Facebook page. Deadly Pit sends you into the depths as you keep moving downwards while the Infernal Tower does the opposite, forcing you to climb and take on enemies. The Land Of The Dead is a quick scrolling stage in which you have to keep moving fast to survive while the Dojo will test your skills. Finally, we have the Dungeon which will be only be on Wii U, even when the game is released on all formats. This mode uses the GamePad and challenges you to master speed and rhythm.
All these challenges will be playable for 1-5 players and you'll be able to invite friends to play with you online and you'll also be able to filter the competition.

It also has its own form of achievements as you can earn trophies and all your results will be recorded on the leaderboard and as a ghost.

Take a look at the video and let us know if this makes up for the delay.

FYI:

When you order Monster Hunter WiiU and the 3DS version on the same order, Amazon is giving you $20 off of your order.

We like it; however we did not fork out $349.99 for it, we won it as a prize.
While we just got it about a week ago I really like the web browser, and the GamePad is awesome for our 3 year old son to "play" Super Mario Bros U on.
I don't think I would be satisfied had I spent the money on it, I may prefer a PS3, but as we have a toddler, the Wii U will be a better choice as far as access to a library of appropriate games for him to play as he grows older.

Plus, Mario in HD is awesome!

It is what I expected it to be. I expected it to be similar to the Wii for me - a secondary console. Chances are I'll play it maybe 10% of my console gaming with the PS4 about 90% of my time. I really only bought it for the first party games and the few good 3rd party exclusives.

I love my Wii U and I have no regrets on it.

Loves: Gamepad and Nintendo Exclusives
Dislikes: Lack of current games.

I find myself using my gamepad nightly as a tablet to check the net. Also, I find myself watching sporting events on tv while I am playing games on the gamepad.

As for my dislikes, that is more a launch issue that I think that will go away soon. Most next-gen games are now confirmed for the Wii U... but it really seems like Nintendo really wanted to get the Wii U out as fast they could to get a head start on the market.

yup it seem like they rush it out for black friday and xmas sales. if it was delayed till march. they could have launched it with the firmware installed and would have had larger launch games selection, with a shorter wait for new games to come out.

no news on when Scribblenauts Unlimited will get a EU release since it was pulled from schedule.

on a side note I read that gamecube games will not appear on the wiiUVC due to lack of analogue triggers that lot of cube titles used

Are u playing it a lot now? I currently don't have anything games wise really to play. I have been playing some on my computer but looks like we are going to sell it and get a laptop so I will need to do my gaming elsewhere. I'm planning on getting a PS4 or the new Xbox depending on which is better but would like to have something for now till then. I have been thinking maybe a Wii U but friends have been saying to just get a PS3.

No, I only have Mario U and Nintendoland and play it about 5% of my gaming time.

that's what I have as well. I'm really hoping that Lego City is a good/great game. And that it still comes out next month.

LEGO Batman 2 On Its Way To The Wii U

We very much enjoyed LEGO Batman 2 at IGN - it got an 8.5. It's sold 3.4 million on other platforms worldwide to date. And if you're in the mood for more LEGO and Batman-related things, IGN's Daniel Krupa recently got his hands on some Dark Knight Rises LEGO.

Agreed.

Thought about getting Monster Hunter... but already picking up Bioshock, Sim City, and Tomb Raider for the PC next month.

Lego City is currently the only console game I am picking up in March.
