I only seen Black Sunday so far. I thought it looked and sounded great. No problems. Except the fact that the last 30 minutes of the film are upside down.

Why don't they count how many faulty copies they have at their DC and get that many shipped from their "other location" the replacement discs are being held hostage at.

I love Black Sunday, it's really great horror movie, very atmospheric! In fact of which, Black Sunday is my first ever slipcover edition from Arrow Video that I gotten, the other two releases I've gotten from them are steelbooks such as Lady Snowblood and Demons. Here's my unboxing/ review of the set:

So there is basically NO way at all to purchase a correct ZFE right now, even from Arrow's own store? There must be something I don't understand. This just can't be that ridiculous.

nope you have to buy the disk and post it back to them again when you receive it. one set of disks are posted from location A and others at location B
and the two locations are not on speaking terms.

If so, I'm sure Arrow will replace it if you mail your original copy back at your own cost, a copy of your birth certificate, thumb prints, driver's license, and half the cost of what you paid for the movie in the first place

You're understanding perfectly. It really is that ridiculous.

Eddie, some pictures for you. Many other titles have physical content. Many have posters, large booklets, some cards, etc

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Also, today we actually received some screeners for older Arrow titles for which we do not have reviews. We will be covering these in the weeks ahead. Here are some photos for The Exterminator (but this just came in and I have not seen it; therefore, I cannot comment on the presentation yet). Anyhow, these photos should give you an idea what these releases look like

You are very welcome, Eddie.

And just to make it perfectly clear, I am not in any way affiliated with Arrow. I just really enjoy the releases for the many older films they bring to Blu-ray as I can update various DVD copies I have in my library. I particularly like the Italian films/releases.

As a side note, maybe the people that plan Arrow's output could license this very recent release of Francesco Rosi's La Sfida from Cecchi Gori and add it to the collection. We have not had a good English-friendly release (no DVD releases in the UK and U.S.). You know who you are

Thank you.
