However it could be the same as Pollen which has been released overseas in 2011, which also appears to be the same as Hidden Beauty, released in the UK.

I wonder where they get this info from?
Probably Pollen which is coming out as 'Wings of Life' in North America:

As for your other question, distributors get to feed their inventory data to retailers like Amazon. It's part of the cost efficiency of making suppliers do more of the work. It's a 2 way street though, because when data is missing elements like the product photo, sales will be reduced.

Different retailers behave differently when this data is wrong. Amazon will typically honor an order where the price or item details given when you placed the order were incorrect.

Completely off-topic, but it has to be pointed out: 4 of the scenes he mentions in that song are actually rape scenes.

better to stay on topic received one title through the .CA, from a 3rd party seller even with the standard $3.49 ship fee, it's still cheaper than buying from amazon fans of rodgers&hamm, this is a must have plus wolverine performing acts of acapella audio spec is only dts-hd ma 2.0, with a logan's run time of 180mins anyway, here's a few pre-order links to share forgot to mention in the wm thread, passed by walle world, sony display up, older titles at $8 each.

Just got my Eagles Farewell Tour and can't help but to feel somewhat disappointed. Although it's an amazing concert, it took them 7 years to release the same transfer as the HD-DVD. They could have taken this time to at least upgrade to a 5.1 lossless audio instead of the lossy DTS 5.1 available 7 years ago on the HD-DVD .

Did you play this or look at the typo on the back cover, mine plays DTS-HD 5.1 and it sounds great!!! There is also a small DTS-HD Logo on the bottom right corner of the back.

Didn't get a chance to yet, was just disappointed by looking at the cover but there is hope At least that would justify the delay.
I just love the DVD (which already sounds great btw), can't wait to hear the lossless track. Thanks

Well it lists it as an import so Amazon.ca are probably bringing in some copies from the UK and jacking up the price of what you could order cheaper directly through Amazon.co.uk (Or one of the many other European countries that have it). UK Version is missing 16 minutes if it is the UK version. Would be the same version that was shown at TFF though so not sure what the missing 16 minutes that some of the other releases have contain.

What have you seen/heard to indicate the blu-ray has lossy audio? A couple reviews so far indicate it's the lossless Master Audio.

Also regarding the HD-DVD I believe it does contain lossless audio, the catch it that only certain players could decode it.

Well this did turn out to be the fabled Eagles concert blu-ray.

It offers a good lesson in Canadian consumer self-defense.

Pre-ordering this last month at $17.49 was the best option as it dipped one day to $16.99 to create the lowest pre-order price.

Upon release, it's now $27.49 and not listed yet by the big players (Future Shop, Best Buy, Walmart)

This is 62% more than pre-order and USA pricing.

So the lesson is that the best deals are often if you pre-order from Amazon to lock in the best potential price.

If you didn't pre-order, the only physical retailer that seems to have it so far is HMV, who also happen to have a lower price of $21.99

There's a few in every store, with piles at the WEM and the Toronto Superstore/Montreal Megastore.

I won't be surprised to see it popping up in Walmart and some others over the coming days and weeks.

... and an hour later Amazon.ca has bumped The Eagles up to $27.99 (!?)

When I received it yesterday, the first thing I did was to check the sound options at the back of the cover, it says DTS 5.1 which was the track available on the HD-DVD. I didn't get a chance to put it in the player yet but Kooltaco says it's just a mistake on the cover and it contains indeed a lossless track. I will check tonight and confirm.

I had the exact feeling when I opened my Adele Blu-ray and it listed Dolby Digital but it too was DTS-HD sound. It is almost as if they take more time making the DVD versions and forget the details for the Blu-ray versions.

I saw it in HMV for 21.99. Looking on their website many of their stores have multiple copies.

I picked up mine at Future Shop and they beat the HMV price by $1.00, so $20.99+Tax

Thanks I did the same and they just took my word for the price. I couldn't even find it listed on the Future Shop website.
