One day, Ayesha went to to gather medicianl ingredients and Nio disappeared. Ayesha has been making a living selling medicine, but one day she discovers her younger sister is alive in the world. Ayesha vows to find Nio and you can help her on March 5 when the game comes out in North America and March 8th in Europe.

Amazon has a release date of March 5 for the disc-based copy.

No. The PSN Store is basically letting you buy the game early. PSN Store download will be available on March 5th, but you can pre-order the downloadable version so that you can play the download version on Day 1. I think you get a PS3 theme for doing that.

Any idea why this isn't on NIS America's website? I think that's why I forgot about this coming out.

While NIS America did do the localization work for this game, this game is being published by Tecmo Koei. That's why it's not on their website.

It's not on Tecmo Koei's site either. I can't imagine this game being very popular with so little support. That's sad really, because this is a great series of games on the PS3.

Well in a way, Tecmo Koei America and Europe are basically treating as we obtained this game because Gust merged with Tecmo Koei Japan. And since NISA did the localizing work, Tecmo Koei America and Europe don't really treat it like as it's their game. Plus Tecmo Koei America and Europe are more concerned with their own games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, DOA 5 Plus, Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, etc. They didn't even make a trailer for Atelier Ayesha.
