I can confirm what we already knew but we didn't want to hear but this will be a single disk Steelbook. Had a reply from Paramount Film Club confirming single blu-ray version only.

Glad I didn't order it then.

Despite the lack of interior artwork, and printed back info, the first edition German steelbook looks beautiful, and is the 2 disc edition.

Sticking with the first edition German release.

I was hoping they'd use the poster art for this steel but they went with with that boring one instead. This would have looked much better.

With the spine the right way around and minus the Blu-ray banner of course.

^That would look a lot cooler.

What bums me out the most is that none of these Paramount PLAY steelbooks have special feature discs! WHY REMOVE THEM

I know, they would sell a lot more if they had the second disc. I would buy them even for £14 or £15.

The reason they remove the disc must be to save money. What else would the studio be concerned with? I don't mind them removing the extra discs. £9.99 or £10.99 for a film you like in a Steelbook is a great price in my mind.

Cancelled my pre-order.

Not going to get caught up in the steelbook hype and start double dipping on films I haven't watched in ages - sensible head kicking in.

Almost certainly going to cancel mine as well as I ended up picking up the German version last week, the Play.com one really does seem quite plain.

I did have this on pre-order but cancelled it. Not really a fan of the design overall to be honest, and single disc is a bit annoying.

The border is much nicer in person, more silver and shiny than matte grey.

Got mine today. I've pretty happy with it though it's a shame they didn't emboss some of Prime's & Megatron's features like they did for the Transformers logo. Would have been a very nice touch.

So i got my copy from a friend in the UK yesterday and there was unfortunately a huge dent in the front top part of the steel under the j-card. I thought I would attempt to preform "surgery" on it and try to repair the dent myself...but unfortunately I made it worse. Now I basically need to replace the entire front. Anyone have a front that they wouldnt mind shipping to the states for me? I know this is a long shot but it was worth asking. I also emailed the steelbook corporation to ask them if they replace parts. Any other thoughts?

Five months later, they still appear to have stock.

Anyone have one of these new or used but in pristine condition that they are looking to sell (not trade), please PM me.

Although I know inserting one's own artwork is an option (and there's a whole thread dedicated to this, especially after the Warner Best Buy exclusive SBs last year), I wish the German release had the Play interior artwork. That inclusion, plus the fact that it includes disc two, would make the German release the bomb IMO.
