It wasn't horrible. But I'd say wait til next year for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

We'll likely get a decent SE release of it as well as the first two on Blu.

The PQ and AQ are pretty good. As far as the movie goes, it wasn't as good as #2.......

Haven't watched the blu-ray, but I was very dissapointed in the movie. I went in thinking "How could they screw up the Dark Phoenix story?" which is one of the classic X-Men stories.... but they did. Very dissapointed.

I had similar feelings about Spider-Man 3... How do you mess up venom? ugh - they managed to do that too.

Well, Venom is a terrible character. So of course the movie was terrible.

Give me Sam Raimi's original plans with Sandman and Vulture any day.

im one of the few who find the movie awesome (taking it for what it is and leaving the xmen grassroots behind) sure its not 100 percent correct, but it is better than spiderman 3 and worth owning. i thought the pq was amazing also

I saw it in the Theater and have not wanted to watch it since. Sure the PQ/AQ is good on Spiderman 3 but if you don't have a good story to match the product it isn't going to worth buying it. Check out Applesed:ex machina it better than those two combined and I'm a Marvel fan since 1978!

It is not as good as X2 but it is still good and the PQ is very satisfying as well. Can't wait to own all 3 on Blu.

Possible spoilers. Probably not though since most people probably know the storylines already.

I liked it but I don't really know anything about the X-men characters so if anything was off, I wouldn't know it. I actually liked the 3rd one the best. The Dark Phoenix story-line and scenes were great, especially the end. IMO, the scene at the end was pretty incredible. Even though I was rooting against her, it was still an adrenaline rush seeing all that power on display or even thinking about having that kind of power, wow. Actually, the whole Dark Phoenix storyline caught me off guard though since like I said, I didn't know anything about the X-men. With the ending of #2, I didn't expect that in #3.

Anyway, thought the PQ/SQ were good. Not reference material but pretty good.

I enjoyed it... Honestly, there's a lot that I could criticize...but it's a movie based on a comic book... Sometimes you just gotta let go and enjoy the ride...

(BTW, I liked Spiderman 3 with the same attitude/opinion as the above)...

*spoilers*

I really liked X-Men 1 and 2, also liked Spiderman 1 and 2. The third parts of both of those trilogies were huge let downs to me. I was way more disappointed by X3's killing off of characters and overall tone compared to X2 than I was with Spiderman 3's excessively emotional pity party. I would have much preferred a Singer version that didn't throw Cyclops and X to the wolves (nor nerf Rogue and Mystique), and took advantage of Cyclops' and Wolverine's attachment to Jean.

It was kind of a sad summer for me.

Anyways I wouldn't buy Last Stand, I almost recommend pretending the movie didn't exist as X2 provides a way better conclusion to the story and Origins is a prequel.

I'm a pretty big x-men fan, and I was extremely angry after seeing this movie the first time.

Watched it a second time, and enjoyed it a lot more since most of my anger had passed. I plan on picking this up eventually but I'm taking the following advice:

I'd defintiely reccomend the movie, but that reccomendation comes with a warning as like I said, I was very angry at the movie after my first watch.
