I'm going to wait until release week to pre order and see if the price drops and pre order it then since we got all the way until the day before to claim this. It comes out the same day as the hobbit but ill have $10 or $15 worth or reward certificates by then to put towards picking both up. Plus I will wait and see if I can pre order and set for in store pick up instead of shipping only.

I would not wait until the Sunday or Monday before release day to preorder. The site clearly states that quantities are limited. Besides, who knows? They might cancel the promo before 03/18/2013.

I think they will I just never ran into that problem. I've never pre ordered a movie there from them but if they don't adjust the price u have to call and they got a 30 day price match guarantee so they would do it no questions asked. I guess the other guy is right if quantities are limited then pre order now if u want. FYI the $ comes out of ur account as soon as u put ur order in on bestbuy.com

So If I pre-order now for store pickup to get in on the bonus and the price drops release week how does Best Buy typically handle this? Do they cancel my order and sell it at the lower costs ( wouldn't this kill my extra points?) or do they just adjust the order in store.

Anyone had an experience like this?

The store I work at in the city of 100,000 people will be getting 7.

All depends on the store... my local neighborhood store will get like 10.

Some ones in the city get like 50.
