JasonR even though you can't shoot your photos straight on, I think yours are by far the best.

What TV is that? because those shots are incredible

It is a Sony Bravia KDL-40v2500. I love the TV, it isn't 120hz but it is amazing.

capture device: Sony cybershot DSC P100
Blu-ray player: PS3
Display: Sony Bravia KDL 46" X3100
Movie: Spiderman 3

not the best capture quality since the camera was hand held. more coming up later on.

I agree. His Shoot 'Em Up ones are mad crazy! It looks like TV adverts in which TV companies would paste a picture into the TV--but here, it's actually real!

Thanks guys. I am out of town now, but when I get back I will try and throw up some pictures of Crank and No Country. There is some very good detail in both of those movies. I,Robot is already posted, so I won't repost that.

My wife does not look kindly on my buying a new TV every year. The 120 version of my current model, year later, was $50 more than what I paid last Feb 2007.

Your Pirates shots are really nice, but 3:10 came out red. Is your TV set to Warm2? I have mine set at Warm1 to prevent that, I am not sure of the settings on your TV though.

Yeah, 120 hz is nice and will be on my next set. I am pretty happy with my TV without it though.

oi... the one thing I can't stand is poorly calibrated displays. Either some of these are not well calibrated camera shots (or just auto-adjusted or poor editing job) or the display is not calibrated.
All i know is on some of the shots here, people are too red, or too green, or just plain off.

Sometimes I HATE being a digital imaging technician, all the little imperfections in an image get to me... sorry.

The only way to get a true BD screenshot is to use the image capture from a PC blu-ray drive program.
