Toshiba deserves to lose every penny. Unforunately, executives making the type of idiotic decisions they have don't seem to be held accountable - and often seem to get rewarded!

I agree with your statement. Toshiba has been a BIG loser in more ways than one.

And yet two weeks ago the projected figure was that HD DVD's demise was going to cost them $977m.

I'd like to know where these numbers are actually coming from.
