I don't understand comments like this. You say you liked the movie, which is fine, but then it seems you imply that even if you didn't like the movie you'd still want to get it because of the PQ and AQ. If the movie sucks, what does it matter how good it looks or sounds?

As a die hard ( ) fan of this series, I thought this movie was absolutely terrible.

I'll stick with my 1-4 set.

I already own the previous four individually and will more than likely wait for:

A Good Deal to Buy Die Hard 5 (meaning < $10)

Will not shell out for this during release week.

Looking forward to seeing multiple copies traded back in to Movie stops, Pawn shops, flea markets, etc. a week after the Blu is released.

I cannot stress enough just how AWFUL this film was.....

Wouldn't even use the disc as a drink coaster...it might corrupt my beverage and make it actually taste like garbage.

Unbearably bad. If you're a fan of the franchise and haven't seen this yet, please don't, it will taint that love...or increase your love for the others.

Just don't.

Thx for the info. I own the iTunes HD uncut DH4.0 but would love this set.

Well I will shake the trend here and say Day 1 purchase for me. Had a great time seeing this movie in theatre (twice, but both free).

Die hard is pretty much my favorite movie of all time, I love the first four films. I never get tired of them. I saw good day to die hard for free, I wanted my money back. The shakey camera, and the first 30 mins of basically unwatchable predictable car chase make me wanna punch willis out.

Plenty have pointed out that this trash is shorter than the other Die Hard movies, but you know something? If they want people to actual consider paying to watch it again, they'll need to forget about a director's cut and instead offer an alternate cut that actually excises footage, 20 to 25 minutes at the least.

I think the hour long car chase is in need of some trimming here and there, but that's just me.

I thought it was worse than most bad movies I've seen.

I have a new found appreciation for bad summer blockbusters like Revenge of the Fallen or At World's End. However bloated, excessive, or lacking in substance they may be, they still met a certain level of quality control.

This movie is fundamentally incompetent.

It feels like watching the first cut of the movie before the final product is shaped and refined.

Transformers 2 is contender for worst movie ever made.

I don't understand the hate for Revenge of the Fallen. Sure it has its bad moments, but it was just as plot-stupid and graphically amazing as the first. If anything, the bloated one was Dark of the Moon. I really didn't like how it took itself way too seriously, and how BORING it got.

A Good Day to Die Hard had a great cast and an interesting story, but the direction and overall execution was abysmal. But that's what one should expect from a John Moore film (ahem...Max Payne, anyone?)
