are some discs "slippery"? - Blu-ray Forum

I think i know what you mean by the disk being "slippery", almost like it has some sort of Oil on it, but i have never had a problem with my ps3 grabbing the disk..

should I use some kind of "aspirating device" as it may be some dust that got into it? what kind? (a table vaccum cleaner?)

One of the reasons I hate slot loads with a passion. If you have discs you use a lot, they often do get "slipperly", and the drive to remove them has trouble gripping the disc after awhile.

have the same problem with some of my discs... nothing too bad though.

if they are porn dvd/BD ofcourse they gonna be slippery when wet
