Is there a difference between the A/V between the North American and United Kingdom Blu-ray release of The Shawshank Redemption? I ask because I would love the steelbook, but A/V means more to me than owning the steel.

I have the U.K. steelbook. I can't spot a difference between it and the U.S. disc I used to have. Is it different from the above DE disc?

No, it's the same. On paper, the US has the better specs, however, the differences are imperceptible in motion.
