Default What Main Menu can you watch for hours?

I've been surfing on the web for a while, and I realised that the movie I was watching in the background (Looper - Alliance Edition) has gone back to the main menu. It's been playing for a while, but I can probably let it run for an infinite amount of loops - pardon the pun.

There's something about the images and the music that feels very trance like. So what are your choices, if you had to watch a select screen again and again?

The Dark Knight Rises is also a good one.

none, I want to watch the film, plus I don't want to to wear my player out.

some some main menus are cool though, the new Roger Rabbit lbu menu is much better than that annoying talking car menu the Vista DVD version had

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but if I have a disc in the player that has been activated, I'm sure as shit going to be watching the film for a couple of hours and not the main menu!

This thread is a bit loco if you ask me. The OP describes having a disc menu playing in the background while they are asking what menu we could sit and concentrate on as a source of entertainment for hours.

If I were to sit and watch something indefinitely for hours, I offer a completely different alternative altogether in the form of...

I think some people have too much time on their hands or a really short attention span!

In all fairness, it's not like I set up a chair and just stare at the screen while drinking soda and eating snacks saying "Oh, here comes my favourite part!". I just meant something playing in the background for a while setting a tone to the room, before or after you've watched something.

Maybe hours is a bit much... should have thought of a better way to title this thread. I started this while I'm half asleep. If you're tierd or wasted - post responsibily.

Well, you should have phrased your thread title question differently. Using the words "can you watch" implies something completely different than what you meant.

Even with the revision of your intent, I still stand by my alternative offering which I included in the post below... since no BD (or DVD for that matter) would ever be left to spin unnecessarily for such a long time in my player.

And, yes. I have enjoyed having that play for hours in the background before.

I personally enjoy the "Boil them, mash'em, stick'em in a stew" number. Petra, I noticed you're a resident of Vancouver. Are you going to check out Fan Expo? Sean Astin is going and I was hoping he would autograph my limited edition replica of a Lord of the Rings potato, in honour of that infamous scene of course.

Wow, I really need to get some proper rest, I'm all over the place and St. Patrick's Day just started, let alone breakfast. Let's just kill this thread... whatever.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYBODY!!!

Most of Lost's I could watch. Even though they are generally SImple and Basic they are pretty enticing IMO.

DVD's actually, Monsters Ball has a gorgeous sound track, As does Serenity (which I have not seen on Blu Ray), Serenity though has an auto start, that was annoying haha.
