At the risk of hyperbole, my Laserdisc of TPM looks more filmic then the Blu-Ray. Of course if I am being honest, as soft and as disappointing the Blu-Ray is overall, it still obliterates the DVD and Laserdisc in every way, but what it reminds me of is a scan that was intended for the 3D screening which was then carelessly also used for the 2D Blu-Ray version.

I wouldn't mind seeing a HD broadcast version of TPM to see how that stacks up, which would have been made long before the Blu-Ray..

AOTC could do without the teal and with more sharpness even though the latter is unavoidable now (without resorting to crappy EE) due to an error in judgement Lucus made at the time of shooting AOTC...
