maybe Mill Creek will release a 13 Ghosts/Tingler combo (they are Sony titles)

I thought Columbia still HAD the Castles--Couldn't they at least have farmed it out to Twilight Time?

(And if Mill Creek ever does 13 Ghosts, safe bet it won't be the "restored" Illusion-O version from the Sony DVD.)

Why not? These are licensed from Sony, anyways, just as TT licenses from Sony.

The 13 Ghosts disks with the anaglyph "ghost viewers" included in the case?
Call it a hunch, but think Mill Creek might skimp on that extra.

I bought that Sony release years ago brand new and sealed and IT NEVER came with the Illusion O viewers

, and it claimed it came with them on the back case

The first pressing did back in 2001 I think it was, but after that all future pressings did not include them.

I've still got my old DVD with the Illusion-O viewers.

Mind you, those damn Castle titles cost me about $29.95 each back in the day!

That is really a strange double-bill. SATAN is a shockingly good movie-- it would be a better match for RACE WITH THE DEVIL (which Shout has the rights to) than any William Castle flick.

FTR, did the later pressings still have the ghosts in blue, or was it the "invisible" version from TV/VHS?

It is a strange pairing, I just hope they do a decent job on the transfers.

As a kid I always thought they created 2 endings for Mr Sardonicus as the audience was allowed to choose the ending. Was shocked to find out later on there was only one created as they knew audiences would always choose that one.

Plus I'm sure Castle was more than happy to save a few bucks not having to shoot an alternate conclusion. All the publicity and gimmickry of two endings, for the price of one!

What's the likelihood that this will be $5 at Walmart, or is this an Amazon exclusive? It was in my Gold Box today so I went ahead and pre-ordered, but I'd rather save a couple more bucks if it'll be cheaper (if available) at Walmart.

I would say the chances of this being in Walmart at some point is very high.

Haha! Just saw Brotherhood of Satan was co-written by L.Q. Jones (who also stars) of Sam Peckinpah films fame.
