I'm growing more and more angry towards scalping. A friend of mine preordered the $150 version of Bioshock that comes out next week. Third party sellers are asking $400... on amazon marketplace, on a product amazon sold them and they don't even ship yet. How is this even f'in legal? It's insane. |

I was there 30 minutes early and was the first in the store. A few of us scrambled to find it. There were 5 copies on the shelf. I grabbed 2. I had pre-ordered so there was a copy waiting up front for me so I picked it up and then put 1 copy back (which also turned out to have a dent on it).
So basically, they were out of stock by 10:01. |

Ever have one of those moments when you get a Blu-Ray, take it to the checkout, wait in line and put the item back thinking you don't really need it.
Yeah that just happened to me with this. I just don't see much re-watchability in this one. |

Hmm I wonder if this will even be worth anything in the future? I mean it is cool and all but and they are selling out fast (scalpers) but I don't see this selling for more the $45 maybe. If they sell for $100 then I feel bad for the person that bought it.

I also don't mind going to Burbank. Although they can have issues, the Atwater one seems the most problematic in my experience. |

I am mostly a collector, but I have intentionally bought items to sell (not so much Blu-Ray Discs, not near enough profit), knowing they will go for a premium, and I do this for extra money, I admit it, but why is someone like me the problem when the market is deciding the value and an individual, using HIS OWN MONEY, values that item at a price, and pays me for it? These fools buying out Best Buy's are probably not gonna make much money (if any going by the eBay prices), so in the end, they are the ones that lose, and you'll be able to buy one from these clowns for face value when they take a bath on them. |
