I picked up a copy shortly after my Best Buy opened. There were 8 to 10 that I saw. I also picked up the Avengers collectors set for $20 and BB's Hobbit exclusive. Walmart wanted $30 for the digibook and they refused to honor the price in the ad. So, I just said "No thanks, I'll just buy it from BB!"

My local store got 5 for this release, Wrath of the Titans, and Resident Evil: Retribution. I think they got about 10 of Underworld: Awakening. Rather limited for a tri-county area with over 500,000 people.

funny you mention walmart and hobbit, it rang up $29.96 and not until after i paid did i notice, so i had to go to customer service and do return/rebuy for 22.96

i dont get how they can refuse to honor their own ad, id call corporate and complain

i dont think its being blown out of proportion at all, from most of the posts on here the majority of stores got an average of 8 or so of these

Our local BB in the middle of Iowa had tons of steelbooks. I think that we got the extras from around the country.

I am not from the USA, I have never used Best Buy before and I don't know what zipcode to use...

2) If your location is accurate in your bio, how do you not know your zip code?
