That's a shame. I was worried about that happening so I decided to go to my Best Buy first thing this morning.

Picked up Mulan and Hunchback around midday. They had about 6 Mulan blu-ray and 5 HOND blu-ray. Priced match Mulan Target price at BBY and then applied $6 off promo. Spent $36 with the purchase of Hunchback, Mulan, and Roger Rabbit. Great buy!

I went at around 2 PM in Colorado.

They only had two copies of Mulan. I got one and the other had the slipcover misprinted, I guess.. One of the sides was too short, so that back cover took half the spine.

I got the very last copy of Hunchback of Notre Dame

and I believe they had about 2 copies of Brother Bear.

I asked the employee if they had any more in the back and he went and looked and said that all they had was outside. There were A LOT of copies of Roger Rabbit though. I don't think that they brought in a small amount of copies because the cashier told me that people have been buying them all day.

After that, I decided to go to target across the street. They had a lot of copies of everything. So I guess Best Buy was the best seller here.

Got Hunchback and Brother Bear for 21.99 each and Mulan for 22.99

I used to shop there when i live in Fremont N.E for a couple years. Was about an hour from Nebraska Furniture Mart. Loved that store.

I called a few Best Buy stores to make sure they had Mulan or any of the other movies in stock and they said they were sold out. It's a good thing I went in the morning as well and picked up all of my copies. It took me two Best Buy stores to acquire all of my movies, but I got them. It's just too bad that the slipcovers were a bit ruined... I was hoping I could exchange my slipcover for another one, but the movies are sold out....

Somehow I always missed Mulan so I watched for the first time last night... it was so-so. Decent story but in my opinion one of the weaker disney movies

Same, was afraid this would be one of the movies where it wasn't as great as I remembered. After all I did see it ONCE in 1999 on VHS at my friends, though surprised at how much I remembered.

Got this today, only $16.7 at the Free Record Shop
Which is a very good price considering this is actually a quality release. They're asking the same for the European singular releases of Aladdin, Brother Bear and Hunchback, which is good since these are all actually of inferior quality.

I still like this movie, mainly for the animation and the songs. What drags it down for me is Mushu.

So I watched Mulan 2 and I actually find I like it. Though there are some things of note. Let's see if some of you agree with me here.

1: Mushu seems more self centered than he is in Part 1. In part 1 he actually genuinely wanted to help Mulan for what it's worth. here, everything is geared more towards his desperate needs.

2: The princesses are plot points for not only the main story, but for the soldiers and Mulan/Shang themselves, as "vehicles" for their plotpoints, whether its finding a lover or figuring out the differences in a relationship. Plus there's never any real closure to the Princesses either other than it shows they can date the soldiers. But you don't get the emperor's reactions to this or the outcome of the mission itself. I assume it all ends peacefully but still.

Shame that it's being bundled with Mulan II. I don't know, it just seems sort of disrespectful to bundle films with their DTV sequels.
I love it when Disney bundles movies. It saves me money. Wish they would have done it with the ling king. I still don't have them on blu but I would have if the sequels would have been bundled together .

My thoughts exactly!! I am still a little bitter that they didn't bundle the 2 squeals together, but I did eventually buy them both but it was so much extra money that didn't need to be spend.. So yea, I am in the minority that like when the sequels get bundled with their original movies or with another sequel..

At my BB and WM they still have them. More like they are taking the slip off at your WM and probably throwing them in the trash.
