Willow and WFRR? from Amazon

I was pretty disappointed when my Roger Rabbit arrived without a slipcover. If anyone has one that they're willing to sell, please PM me!

A fellow Canadian, nice to meet ya! Nice pickups! Is there an hmv in your area? They had the hobbit lenticular covers without crappy stickers like from best buy. The steelbook is nice because its covered in plastic so nothing actually on it.

Do people actually brag about having a rare movie? What are we 10 years old?

What? How is it any different from someone bragging about having a rare book? Do only 10 year olds do that?

As members of this forum, I'd say it is fair to assume we are all collectors of films in general, and when you start a collection, you will begin to run into common and uncommon and even in some instances yes, rare, items. Why wouldn't you want to share that with other fellow collectors?

Sharing is different, like if someone makes a thread asking what's the rarest blu ray you have and people post theirs.

Hmm...according to YesAsia, this is OOP...is that true?

This is one of my favorite films of the past few years, and the version you have is clearly the definitive home release, but I don't think I'd personally fork over $80 for it. Are there english subs for the commentary and extras? What version of the film is on the US edition, the theatrical, international or perhaps an alternate one?

Sorry to bomb the picture thread, all :/

Haha, nice to meet you too. I do have a few HMV around my area but I hardly go.

No slipcover on Lawrence of Arabia either. I'd be pissed because both of those come with slipcovers.

Not always. I'm fine with not getting a slip cover for a 2 disc BD set that only cost $9.99. You guys demand too much.

Normally blurays aren't that cheap, in Canada we unfortunately pay full value for a while so heck ya I want them to be complete.

If it's a new release, then yes, I'd expect to get a slip cover. LOA has been out since November though, so I'm not surprised that it doesn't have one.

Badlands!

I saw that Amazon had still not shipped my order of Badlands a couple hours ago, so I canceled the order and grabbed a copy from Best Buy down the street for a couple dollars cheaper after Rewards points. I'm looking forward to revisiting this movie over the weekend, so I wanted to have it in time.
