Miracle Mile is available in Widescreen but it is non-anamorphic widescreen. TGG Direct got the rights for that one so I am not sure if Scream/ Shout could get it. I think Scream took the films they wanted and a lot of others went to TGG. The widescreen dvd is paired with Manhattan Project. The film looks really clear but yes it would've been nice to have it in 16:9 widescreen instead of 4x3 widescreen.

I own the TGG disc and am happy to have it in widescreen. It is only available at Amazon.com

Maybe they should try something similar to what Shout did with the recent "Action Packed Marathon" 4-pack. Package 4 lesser-known horror titles that may not sell very well on their own together for a low MSRP.

I would be happy with a simple re-issue with the scream factory logo replacing the shout one because I don't own any of those listed yet
Fear City, for starters, isn't even remotely a horror film.

Considering the way some people reacted when Scream announced NINJA III would go out under their banner (despite that being a film with horror elements), this would surely go over like a lead balloon.

Anyone that has a region free player and would like to check out that International version, only has to import the MGM DVD from the likes of the UK or Australia.

Like you said, she made a big stink about it (likely for attention) and publicly criticized MGM leading to the disc's recall and eventual reissue....with the US PG rated cut only. Makes me wish her son would have come out as gay a few years later, cuz, ya know, female nudity is such a terrible thing. (and no, I'm not bashing gays, just the lowlife soccer mom.)

That's us typical amarican's. Nudity bad for kids, but violence and gore is fine.

I believe they use the same cut of the film as was used for the reissued US DVD. No point in trying to import it.

Umm, no. The international version is on the MGM DVDs available outside North America. My Australian R4 copy certainly is the "uncut" version. The only downside is the non-anamorphic widescreen transfer.

Ah yes, my mistake, you are correct. I'd jump on any European release with the "uncut" version on BD.

I wonder if The Fog won't be released until July, as I would have assumed we would have gotten confirmation by now, what with The Howling being announced two weeks ago for June.

I want the Psycho movies as well. And right now like you said would be the perfect time.

Phantasm II looks phantastic! My new favorite Shout release. There's a disclaimer when you play the trailers: it says "These (Phantasm I and III) are not available from Shout". What about the fourth one??
