And I disagree about the traffic that is needed. Sure, eBay is a popular website. But we could easily defeat eBay if we focus on one group only, steelbook collector's. It's not like there are millions of steelbook collector's...

We have 2 Best Buy's here in my city. one location did not get any copies in and the other location only got seven copies in which sold out in 10 minutes.
Only 7 copies for a major metropolitan city. I am so glad I was following this release on this site and HD Ninja's site....whew!

our store got 5 copies here.....kinda lame but not much steelbook interest here
NOVA stores got something like 10, that was small compared to how much the population increases as it gets closer to DC

I did notice that the guy that likes to clean out my store, of steelbooks, did have Virgina license plates....Hmmmm was that JW??

I just got done talking to a BB manager and he informed me that this SB is a deleted item, no more copies coming in from the distribution center.

I've been checking back at my Best Buy each day this week, and it appears they will not be getting it back in. They got TWO on Tuesday, and from the sounds of it, they were possibly snatched up by employees before store open.

I wasn't aware of a steelbook for this, nor was I even planning to buy this one blindly. I watched it last night thanks to a free Redbox rental, and it was fantastic. I'm kicking myself right now for not just going to BBY right at open to see if it was there. Plus, it wasn't until last weekend that I bought the Target exclusive Bourne steelbooks that I realized I want more. I have The Dark Knight Trilogy individual steelbooks and just won an auction for the Sherlock Holmes steelbooks as well (at a steal!!).

I know Best Buy steelbooks are rare and limited, but this is ridiculous.

I would honestly take that news with a grain of salt (not saying it can't be true, but BB employees have a bad track record with giving out incorrect information).

Magically found a store 30 miles from me still have it for pickup. Hesitating whether to put in 2 hours to try my luck since that sounds too good to be true.

When I went tonight, the guy searched all cities nearby friends and relatives of mine. Not a one. And he did show me that it was "Not orderable" (which isn't even a word, but that's what popped up on the screen) when he typed in the SKU to check the database for truck orders.
