Do the titles which include no other release, and have no special features count?

Thanks for asking this question.

This thread is really about movies that have multiple editions. If there's only one barebones version, well, that's what everybody gets. (Woody Allen comes to mind since he doesn't believe in Bonus Features.)

These type of editions are almost always made at the behest of specific retailers, to advertise a popular movie at a cheaper price point in the store.

IMAX: Born to Be Wild is already there.

As for Bridesmaids...I know that there's a listing for it here at BD.com, but I've never seen this anywhere. Do you have a pic by any chance?

I sure don't. I would want proof as well since Universal doesn't typically commit to this practice.

Captain America, Thor, True Grit
What's ironic is now it seems Blockbuster now gets the retail versions of Paramount releases (such as Flight). But yeah, I know Blockbuster had the rental version of Thor

I bought Captain America for $1 when one of the stores near me was closing. Since the disc didn't have any Bonus Features, I just sold it and got the BD/DVD combo pack instead.

I was at Walmart earlier today and took note of the movie-only versions that they have on display. I've added as many as I could remember to the list.

Here's an example:

I bought 'Red' on day one in this format. I think Amazon was running it for $13 or so. It wasn't until after opening it that I discovered the lossy Dolby Digital audio. Sheesh. I hate Summit when Summit does this kind of stuff, discouraging rental versions as well.
