Considering what they have available in cap room, I'd be surprised if they're paying him even what they were giving Abraham, which was a pretty nice discount.

Texans signed Shane Lechler. How the hell did the Raiders let him go?! They may not win a game this year... that's like giving up 15 yards every possession.

Sounds like a decent deal for the city. At least the team isn't "pulling a Jeffrey Loria" here.

The Rams and Raiders both did play in LA at one time and flopped there. Why would they go back? I know it's a huge market but LA's track record is terrible when it comes to NFL teams.

Yeah and they are still getting a team anyway which makes no sense

I've read that the Rams are the likeliest option, which made me scratch my head as well. Why the hell would a team move from LA to St. Louis only to move back to LA 20ish years later?

Why not move to a city like Oklahoma City, which I think would really support them. You know they are going to have issues selling seats in LA.

Probably better than going Oakland-LA-Oakland....

I love how fans are ok with public funding for stadiums and then the owners increase ticket prices lol.

In defense for the Falcons, the public financing is actually covered by a hotel/motel tax, so locals won't technically be chipping in. Something like 40% of the 7% tax (so 2.8 cents for every dollar spent in hotels and motels in the city) goes to the Falcons through 2050 (it has since 1991 for the Georgia Dome actually). It will first repay the $200 million (with interest). The remaining amount would go into several buckets for maintaining and operating the stadium.

It also has guarantees about the team staying in town and in the stadium (through severe penalties) for at least 30 years.

RG3′s knee surgeon: Griffin is ‘superhuman’ in recovery

"I've been real mum on talking too much about RG 3," Andrews recently told ESPN while working on a feature about South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore, who is also under Andrews' care. "He wants his recovery to be fairly private, but I can tell you he's way ahead of schedule. His recovery has been unbelievable so far. RG3 is one those superhumans. First patient I ever had like that was Bo Jackson. And recently I, of course, had Adrian Peterson, who is also superhuman. They have an unbelievable ability to recover, where as a normal human being may not be able to recover."

Just be glad Atlanta won't be around to shut him down and knock his lights out again

They should worry about advancing in the playoffs not on a second year qb with a rebuilding team

I don't think the Falcons are worried about RGNoKnees.
