Makes it hard to bring them back... does a Star Wars film in the Saga (not stand alone) need a Sith? Only time will tell...
There hasn't been a Star Wars film without one, so...

I know. Kinda scary...

I mean, there's lore and canon and all that. And there's traditional structure... and the two don't combine! They're like General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics. They're both true, but the maths just doesn't communicate! But somewhere there's a Theory of Everything, and JJ's gonna have to come up with the Star Wars version of that...

Remember when those lizard things with the bio-ships and general hatred of life invaded from another galaxy through some forgotten ultra-hyperspace lane. It sucked, but it showed a threat greater than anything the Republic had seen before. But it's probably too much for film. No one has invaded a planet from another galaxy in a movies since the 50's when it was not common knowledge that galaxies are millions of light-years apart, and invading from the next star over is a bit more believable...

You seem to go in a lot of threads and brag about how you aren't going to watch a lot of new movies that come out in theaters. You must have low self esteem to come on the internet and brag on an internet form about how not going to movies makes you superior. First of all you'll probably go, if for nothing else, for something to do. Second of all, if you want to rexperience feelings on nostaliga that you had while watching the originals, and won't accept anything but the originals, then the problem probably is with you and not the new movies.

Actually the only new movies I mention not going to see is this one and the new Star Trek. Every other post has been a joke. I guess I should start putting " " at the end of my posts so you don't get confused. Also, my self esteem is just fine.

Even though I hate what Lucas has turned Star Wars into and I dislike what JJ Abrams has done to Star Trek even more I still find the news and talk about them interesting. My "Nathan Fillion" post was meant as a joke. Sorry if I upset any one.

What did you hate about Star Trek?? Just curious ... I was anti Star Trek until I saw the newest one ... it was so good I went back and watched the Star Trek movies and now I'm a fan

but is it not better to create a different type of space opera rather than relying on either star wars and star trek to encompass the rest of your life to fulfill that area or genre that you like

Are you even a Star Trek fan? If not your opinion is invalid.

So you have to be a fan of something before you can't like it? Brilliant.

JJ Abrams and George Lucas morphed together into one being and came up with the ultimate idea

No one says there can't be others. That's why we're getting 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. But I'm not opposed to having 'Star Wars' movies for a long time, as long as there are stories left to tell.

Star Trek was rebooted to suit general audiences. Some fans of the show(s) say they don't like JJ abram's take on it. If he/she isn't a star trek fan then his opinion is invalid. Or he at least needs to explain it.

Oh and btw you forgot your shrug emoticon buddy.

Says who? I don't think every film critic on the planet is a fan of Star Trek, but they offer their opinion, and it's certianly not invalid. (i only do that when it's required, have you not figured that out yet?)
