All i know is what can be found here. I doubt this will release any time soon. I think you'd be better off just getting the Korean release, considering those re-sell pretty easily, and you wouldn't have to wait forever.

As everyone said before me ... Sunny is really a treat. Loved it from start to finish ... also saw it at least 3 times now. Just wonderful.

I think i got into Korean cinema mainly through my interest in Gangster movies ... Bittersweet Life and Shiri were the first i saw if i remember correctly. "A Bittersweet Life" pretty much blew me away and i loved this movie ever since. It's also one of my all-time fav. flicks.

I think the unique style of korean action cinema is what fascinates me ... it's like a perfect mix of Alain Delon "Le Samurai", Michael Caines "Get Carter" and Bruce Willis in "Die Hard".

Thanks for the news!
Korea release, the price is very high for me. If possible, I want to buy the US release. But the question is When? as you said...

I've not seen the movie yet but I love the artwork on the cover like KR release did. I hope US release will not fail me with lousy artwork one.

I would consider myself a moderate Kim Ki-duk fan, The Isle is one of my favorite movies and Bad Guy is really his only movie that I didn't care for before seeing Pieta. With that said, Pieta was sort of a let down for me, it didn't have the feel of a Kim Ki-duk movie that I was use to. Maybe that's good for others, or I had the wrong expectations which affected my view, but it seems like a movie I could easily forget and not really care to revisit in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to give your opinion. I'll give it a spin hopefully tomorrow.

My problem mit Pieta is the exact same i have with Oldboy. The plot is so overly sadistic and relies too much on plain luck and the right behavior of the main protagonist, that i just can't wrap my head around it.

Lol, i love that "mit" there, Zeti. I remember back when my head didn't think in English yet, i did the same shit with Dutch words, haha.

I actually love the sadistic element of Oldboy, and i will love it in Pieta, too. The more wrong, depraved and immoral, the more exciting it gets for me...lol

HA! Happens when you wake up without a good cup of coffee

The acting was terrific in both Oldboy and Pieta ... but those movies just didn't do it for me ... as much as i love korean cinema.

Not sure. I have never owned, or even seen an actual "Drafthouse Films" release. I'd hope it would, albeit difficult to beat the Korean slipcover.

I liked A Moment To Remember, until the last 30 minutes. The unnecessary, drawn out, tear jerking ending was too much for me. Great acting and chemistry between the two leads, though.
