PS4 more anticipated than iPhone5, Galaxy S4, and all other devices

This poll actually holds more weight if those who were questioned are core console gamers.

Doomsday sayers predict many core console gamers will move on to mobile gaming, or that mobile devices will become a preferred format in a few years, and that this will be the last console generation.

Judging from that poll, thats simply not the case. Just look how convient home theaters have become, and how quickly and easily it is access movies from redbox, the internet, mail, etc. Yet expensive movie theaters are still alive and doing well, because of the experience of having a big screen in a big theater.

In the end there is room for everything, mobile gaming, console gaming, PC gaming. All will always have an audience because they appeal to different groups of gamers
