This and the TDK are exactly like the ones from Japan right? If so, I wonder how they'll affect the value of those. Begins goes for around $200 on ebay

Seriously? I already double dipped on BB and TDK (triple dipped BB if you include my DVD purchase) to get the BBY Steelbooks.

I LOVE the covers of these though. Are they going to be pretty limited?

Yes not to keen either, as I too got BBY BB, TDK and 2x TDKR (BBY and HMV) steelbooks, but got a feeling I'll end up buying them purely because of the art

I always hoped to get batman films in this artwork for a reasonable price so I'm pleased. I just need to try and sell my current ones now as I don't two steel for 1 film.

Without a doubt. Amazon.com have them listed for a May release. Hopefully they'll have them at around the £11 mark too.

So these are the covers WB are releasing with the new wave here on May 7th? I thought the thread over at HDN said this was a UK release? I thought those were just going to be the same cover we'd already had at BBY.

The US isn't getting the Batman Begins and Dark Knight steels from the UK, just the Batman (1989) and Batman Returns are the same.

Edit: I didn't realize that TDK and BB are part of the May 7th wave, so it is possible that they'll have the UK art, but also just as possible that it's the same artwork as what was sold at BB

There's no artwork up yet for 'Batman Begins' on Amazon.com, but my guess would be that it's going to be the same as ours. 'Batman' & 'Batman Returns' on the other hand are exactly the same as ours all except the blue banner across the top which I don't see being part of the artwork.

Thats my two cents.

I didn't even realize they were releasing those too in the May 7th, I just saw the Batman 89 and Returns on the list initially. I suppose it is possible that they'll have the same art as the UK ones.

Well that would be awesome, because i'm sure it'll work out cheaper getting them here, especially during U&S! Hope they release the artwork for the US batch soon!
