Hi Guys, I'm looking for advice on the cheapest polybags in the UK? I've heard that certain ones are poor quality because of the way they are made over time they can cause errosion of the slipcases, steelbooks and backing cards and I don't want this to happen. I'm hoping to start opening some of the steelbooks I've bought over the years.
Any advice is appreciated.

In your guys' opinion, which are the best bags to use for Steelbooks? I really want to use some for my Resident Evil steelbooks. I'll also (most likely) be getting the Django Unchained steelbook, and I'd really love to protect that as well. Since Steelbooks are similar to Criterion cases in size, I'm assuming they can also be used on Criterions?

In all, what are some good prices on eBay/elsewhere for no more than 25 bags? Preferably eBay or Amazon though.

In addition, what would be some bags that could fit slightly thicker Blu-rays with slipcovers (4 & 5 disc sets), or standard Blu-rays with slipcovers?

I use these. Can't even notice the steelbooks are protected when they sit on the shelf. All but the side you open the steelbook are protected and something is wrong if you are damaging that part anyway! Makes it easy to take the steelbook out having that one small opening.

[Show spoiler]
These are good but I actually prefer the ones with both sides open - the spines are clearer for one thing and I dont need the spine itself protected.

As for polybags. Ive tried them. I can sum it up with an emoticon -

You get what you pay for... I use polybags for putting j-cards in - all theyre good for really!

I'm actually surprised how clear the spines actually are. I've taken photos and people haven't even noticed they are covered. I'm pretty impressed with them. I've also tried polypags and it makes the collection look really nasty and bloated

Polybags are horrible - Id rather chance the steelbooks with no protection than use those things!

The most important thing I found (to my cost) was protecting the bottom of the steels - thats the bit that will get scratched if anything. Luckily I realised that very quickly after buying my first steels.

Polybags are great, it's just personal preference.

I bought some polybags as the few steels I own are shoved in tight between the amaray's and I think the paint would definitely come off otherwise but I may buy the harder shell as I am not fussed on the bags to be honest with ya.

i got mine off ebay and he didn't have tracking. its hard to understand him cuz i think he just uses translate as a lot of the english written portions are confusing and oddly worded. At this rate i have 25 steelbooks as soon as django and life of pi get to me, i may as well orderd a second set of 25 sleeves right now with as long as it takes lmao.

Ok i ordered from the site and it was pretty much the same. I used Google translate to get a general idea but things were worded wrong. I'm in the same boat as you as I'm getting close to running out of sleeves and i have some steelbooks on pre order or interested in getting. I wanted to see them before i bought another set as they are not exactly cheap.

literally my thoughts exactly! I just can't forsee myself giving anything other than neutral feed back no matter how much i like them, because coming up on 2 months is simply far to long ot wait. It'd be two billing cycles since i got them.

I will post here too once I get mine with some pics most likely and my opinion on them. I just contacted the seller to see if he has the tracking # for my item.

I got mine from the blusteels website this week. Took about a month to receive them.
There were sent with a tracking number, and I had to sign for them, although, I was never given a tracking no to check.

Luckily I did receive the 65 i ordered, as the website is all over the place
