I hope no one above is referring to me because I was just trying to help and offer some insight to those who are having these issues. This thread isn't really about certain titles not resuming after you have pressed the stop or the power buttons because of BD-Java though. The OP specifically titled the thread "Pausing Blu-rays", referring to when he pauses his player how it times out after it has been in screen saver mode for a short amount of time. That's got nothing at all to do with the actual specs of blu-ray, it's to do with his player (therefore he should be upset with the manufacturer of his player, not blu-ray technology in general), and to be honest rather than the OP opening a thread to complain about this, he could have simply asked about it instead (or searched for threads on the topic, as there are others all ready opened with solutions), where he could of got some advice in return on how to stop this from happening, like other members have done in the thread. The majority of players do allow for automatic shutdown features to be turned off in the settings menu, and discs with their own screensavers can be resumed if the correct button is pressed on the remote.
